Today is my daughter & son birthday celebration dinner.
My family started their food but me...I started my sketching.
Doctor said...avoid eating red meat!

I finished my sketch, halfway of our dinner. Yes, I did taste the beef but I ate the pasta.
Using tombow brush pen and winsor & newton watercolor.

My friend invite me to try Filli Tea and good thing we got a good seat (almost outside of shop but in the middle of it) a perfect location for my sketching.

I started to sketch on a A4 Envelope (my Unicare Stress Test Result)  using tombow brush pen and watercolor it at home using nevskaya palitra.

By the way the Saffron Tea is good.

Today is Urban Sketchers Global 10th Year Anniversary and today also is 24 Hrs.Global Sketchwalk and as our participation Urban Sketchers Dubai giving a sketching workshop for free at Arserkal Avenue by Mr. Shanqoo.

My ink sketch was started at 6 pm and I finished at 630pm and asked Shanqoo to sign & stamped my sketch. I left the workshop at around 7pm. Watercolor rendering was done at my house.

I used tombow brushpen, winsor & newton watercolor on 300 gsm watercolor paper.

This is weird, I dreamt about my old friends from high school. Night scene they just showed up on a van without a driver seat. Inside the van are my friends Richie (who died recently), Jaime Popoy Nicolas and outside Andy Villanueva, Ding Evangelista, Bubut Buenviaje, Amy Perez, Floriza Nepomuceno and Winnie Inocencio. They are just saying hi to me.

Another scene, inside filthy toilet and i'm changing my clothes and when I realized how dirty the toilet was I went out and saw Ding & Andy and all of my friends (the one I drew).

Another scene when Bubut teach me and try to massage my back but I told her..."no, i'm fine".
I walk on a vacant lot beside the firewall and and turn around & I saw again my friends on the van.

When I woke up, I immediately get a paper & sketch my friends quickly.

This is a usual scene at IKEA Dubai, full of people having their breakfast.
Me and my wife managed to sit on a high chair...which is good for my sketch.

I started to sketch the guy on brown shirt and the light fixture above him as my anchor to sketch the whole scene, people come and go as I capture them one by one on their table. I used winsor & newton watercolor.

I was waiting for my take home order...and it seems that it will take more cooking time.
Starving, I'm on a diet....but can't resist to eat arozcaldo & sipoao for snacks.

While waiting for my food, I quickly sketch owner (I believe he is) Mr Clayton and my food before eating. I used tombow brush pen & winsor & newton watercolor.

I am almost done my breakfast then my wife asked me..."why you didn't do your sketching?"
well...my food is finished...so i think ...nothing to sketch for now.

Then when I looked far left I saw a red hair lady having her breakfast.
I didn't waste time...I made a quick sketch and when the time I started to have a documentary video...she quickly stand up and left.

I didn't expect that my girls finished cheese cake as fast as my sketch. hahaha.
We ordered cheesecake, salted caramel budino and 1 cold coffee ( I forgot the name).

"Yes, I did this sketch during live parents orientation, and yes...right now...I almost done" this

 was my reply to one of facilitator Sister Madz. And she quickly took a snap & requested to borrow my sketch to show to her colleagues.

And one of her friends shouted..."hmmm I know this guy he drew this...it's Fullcircle!".Well that guy is my close friend Bro. Allen who knows me well.

This event was organized by CFC Couples for Christ Dubai for our children who went for youth camp. And after Parents Orientation given by Bro. Edward Yuson we attended our children's...some kind of graduation rites (you know that stuffs...singing, dancing and afterwards crying...).

I'm happy that day as I chat again to my old friends like Rocky & Pia Parroco, Allen & Del Cabugon and others ( Sorry...I can't remember their names).

I gave the original sketch to Bro. Edward Yuson as a gift.

Normally, when my car changed oil I will go straight to adjacent burger store and stayed there until the service finish. But this afternoon...my tiny watercolor and folded sketch paper was on my pocket and I didn't waste time...I started to sketch this 2 specialists Mani & Dileep. And when they finish my car change oil, their sketch also done with color.

I approached them and show their sketch...they are very  happy and took a photo of my sketch and sent to their friends.

I asked if it is Ok to take a photo of them while they are holding the sketch...they didn't say a word, took the sketch and pose.

I used winsor & newton watercolor, tombow brush pen and daler rowney 300gsm. watercolor paper.

Note that I started to write arabic word ( I just finished basic arabic at FI Filipino Institute link here) as sub-title.😃😃😃

This is the result of my previous chemical diet plan (link here).
Yes, I did,I loose 7kg in 1 month.
Why 7kg. only? I cheat the plan.😀😀😀
Anyways that was 2 months ago and I am maintaining a balance daily diet.

I did this quick sketch this morning while preparing my family breakfast.
Using winsor & newton watercolor, tombow pen & daler rowney 300 gsm. watercolor paper.
Added text on sketch at office.

After my Saturday activities and before going home.
I just park my car at mosque vicinity and start to sketch inside my car...yes inside my car 'coz until now Dubai weather still humid...its 35° hot outside. After few minutes, I took a photo of the mosque and went to community store for some snacks.

I ask the Irani store owner about Mosque name and as usual they don't know the name of the mosque but before I leave he called me and told me that the name of the mosque is "Ummo Yaya Masjid"
??? and I told him if he is sure about the name 'coz I will write it on my blog and he say..."hmmm, not so sure, better to go inside the mosque and read the name tag"...huh...???

I went inside the mosque and ask the Natoor (watch man) what is the name of the mosque. And even the Natoor not sure about the mosque name. Then...a community cleaner approached me and told me that the name of the mosque is Al Bara Bini Araf Masjid....now this is for sure.

I went back to store and ask the owner " how many years you are here in community mosque" and quickly answered 5 years..! Hmmm... did you know that the name of the mosque is Al Bara Bini Araf Masjid... he smile and shouted that " Now I know..!"
