Me and my wife Annie new year resolution is to attend friday mass for the whole year of 2020 and today our 1/52.

Woke up at 6am to prepare ourselves as we re schedule to attend mass at 7:15am but we reached the church at 8:00am...anyways we finished the mass and waited for the next. Before the mass we recite the "Angelus - Holy Rosary".

Mass starte at 9:15am, and the parish priest is the officiating priest for this mass.Homily "Be focuson your gols in life, don't stay on Herod'scastle of deceit".

I am still sick, coughing during the mass and even Anniestarted to feel cold. After the mass we went to IKEA for breakfast

This was impromptu sketch requested by my daughter for her project. I started on layout while building up lines on perspective. I used tombow for direct sketch (no construction pencil lines) and windsor newton water color, regular colored markers and indiaink.

Quick sketch during our Boss JF farewell party, hopping around from table to table while drinking beer in between sketches. Hahahaha! I had fun, I can sketch their faces whatever I want, even not exactly they are but still, they are happy and proud maybe because of beer... lol.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

My last sketch for 2018 & 1st sketch of 2019.
At 11pm, my family rushed to Jumeirah Beach area to watch 2019 fireworks, parked our car 3 blocks away from the site and away from predicted traffic after the celebration.

Bea my daughter led us to Fishermans Wharf to a coffee shop (Coffee & Storey) and stayed while having black tea and ice cream. Quickly grab my folded paper and start to sketch 'coz I have only 10 minutes to sketch the environment before the fireworks.

This sketch has two parts & methods of drawing.

The first part of the drawing is my family which is on the bottom right side of the frame. This was done while waiting for fireworks and the upper part was done after the fireworks. Method of sketching is Inking & watercolour.

I used Tombow & Uchida brush pen and schmincke watercolour on 300 gsm. folded water color paper.

Waiting for my daughter from her shopping, I was placed here at Jollibee and bought breakfast.
I ordered 2 pcs. of chicken joy, burger steak, sundae, pineapple and after I finished my breakfast, I grabbed paper placemat and started to sketch until my daughter came back and took a video.

I am using Tombow & Uchida brush pen.

After we order sandwiches, I notice a long blank yellow paper onside Dunkin Donuts Showcase. I grab one. This paper is smooth glossy on other side and matt on the other, the size approx 7" x 19".
I rushed back to my office to get my pens.

I started a quick sketch after a couple of bites of my food. With me...Marie and Ovee, both are officemates. After my sketch, I gave the original drawing to Erwin (Bakeria Staff).

I used Tombow sign pen and Sakura brush pen.
